Then under the cover of this argument she indulged in materiality. She would not have been misled in this way, had she realized that in Christian Science possessions are permissible only as they are evidences of divine Love demonstrated. Even as such they present a temptation and a danger. Job discovered this, and proved that the Master’s way was the safest, namely, to seek first the kingdom of God, and to have the things added.
