237 — WATCH lest you accept the suggestion that it wearies you to think scientifically, and after you have done it for a while, you must find rest in relapsing into negative human thinking. We must reverse this absurd claim, and establish the fact that mental weariness comes from absorbing mortal mind’s false thinking, and that we find complete rest in the reflection of divine Mind.

On page 60 of our Church Manual by Mrs. Eddy we find the following: “A Christian Scientist is not fatigued by prayer, by reading the Scriptures or the Christian Science textbook. Amusement or idleness is weariness. Truth and Love rest the weary and heavy laden.”
